When I’m in a relationship or if I am dating someone, I don’t have eyes for anyone but my partner.

When I’m in a relationship or if I am dating someone, I don’t have eyes for anyone but my partner. It wouldn’t even occur to me to flirt with anyone when I have a partner. Flirting can be fun, but I don’t think it has a place in a relationship or in a marriage most especially, unless you are flirting with your partner.

Flirting with another while being involved with a partner is very hurtful and unhealthy. To compliment another human being out of kindness is not flirting but flattery, and that is acceptable if the compliment is given with respect.

One may feel jealous or insecure when their partner is flirting with others, I now know from experience that flirting with others outside of one’s relationship can and does lead to infidelity. I am neither jealous or insecure, but I am much more aware of harmful behaviors.

I would never undermine the one I am with by having him see me flirt with another man, or hear about my flirting from someone else. The potential upset to my partner is not worth the cheap thrill or ego boost to myself. I think its disrespectful for me, even if he never knew about it.

Flirting is teasing. It shows a specific interest in another. I don’t think it would be a good thing, and I sure wouldn’t want to be out with my guy and have him flirting with other females.

Flirting is more of a respect issue than a jealousy one. How can it be harmless, when its really an insult to the partner. When I’m attached, I don’t want my partner to flirt. I want him to be sensitive of my feelings. Its really hurtful and dumb. If you can’t stop flirting, then you’re just a player looking for your next squeeze. Grow up and get over yourself. Flirting with anyone is cheating if you’re exclusive with someone.

I personally do not flirt when I am in a relationship, or whatever you may call it. I don’t like to play games. I totally want the person that I am in that relationship to trust me and feel safe knowing that I am being faithful. I think it embarrasses the other partner when their partner flirts with someone else and I would never do this. It f_cking hurts. I feel like I was being toyed with.

Enough of this. This is just me, blurting what I have in mind. If you happen to read this, thank you and sorry I won’t answer whatever questions you may have because I’m done talking and I’m sick and tired of all this crap.
